  So, I just read about this wild case involving the Success Kid meme, the one with the baby clenching his fist like he just won at life? Turns out, the mom of Success Kid, Laney Griner, sued a Congressman’s campaign for using the meme without permission in a fundraising post. And guess what? She actually won the case and got $750 in damages!

  It’s kind of a big deal because it reminds me that even memes are protected by copyright laws. What do you think this means for creators, campaigners like us, or even just regular folks sharing content online?
