What does the program include?
Up to 100,000 texts or its equivalent phone calls (80,000 minutes) for free. The offering is part of a grant set up by CallHub that will be distributed to 10 eligible organizations on a first come first serve basis.
I’m an existing user. Can I use this?
Of course. But please go though the application process and we’ll set you up with a different account that you can use for COVID-19 related relief efforts.
Who can apply? What are the eligibility criteria?
Federal, state & local governmental agencies & nonprofits who are providing direct relief, such as health checks or connecting people to medical, food, and other services are eligible to apply. The grant is active till Jun 30 following which normal rates will apply.
Adapting existing organizational communication to the current crisis is not covered by the grant. Eg. If your in-person event was canceled and you need to switch to text messaging.
