We’ve Made our Values Public! What CallHub Stands For

CallHub was born as a tech tool in 2014, and in the initial phases, we saw ourselves as a tech platform only. But the political space has given us a lot of love and acceptance. We leaned into it and started evolving as a tool suited for the political and connected industries.

Today, we associate ourselves with the political space (while also catering to the advocacy, nonprofit, and business industries, among others). That comes with some responsibilities. Taking a clear stand about values and ethics is one of them.

We have evolved over the last decade, but our core values and ethics have remained stable. They dictate our resources, processes, products, and people. We stand strongly for these values and reserve the right to not work with any political, nonprofit, or advocacy client who does not match our values.

We are confident that we are one of the best campaign tools in the market, only getting better by the day. We believe taking a public stand is a sign of growth and hope to continue receiving your support going forward.

CallHub stands for:

  • Trust, honesty, and truthfulness
  • Transparency
  • Diversity in all forms (race, gender, religion, caste, sexual orientation, etc.)
  • Inclusivity
  • Kindness
  • Fairness in opportunities and rewards
  • Affirmative action
  • Action on climate change
  • Equal access to agency, rights, and healthcare regardless of gender

We are:

  • Progressive

We stand strongly against:

  • Racism and prejudice/stereotypes of any sorts
  • Gun violence

Internally, CallHub believes in four core cultural principles

Openness and TrustExtreme Ownership
Aspire to be GreatKindness

Our values translate into work ethics in many diverse ways. And any breach on an individual, organization, or campaign level will account for immediate scrutiny or ejection. For example, sending a message misaligned from the use case in your KYC form. Or using our platform to spread false information. Or using our tools to spread messages that go directly against our values.

We haven’t publicly promoted our values so far. But that changes now. We are updating our Terms and Conditions to reflect our stance.

How will this affect us as a company?

We acknowledge that taking a firm stand about values will trigger some attrition with our political and related customers. But that is a short-term loss, in our opinion. We are confident that we will continue to partner with customers more aligned with our values in the long term.

This public statement of CallHub’s values will also help us build products in a better-defined direction. We will now probe deeper into our sector and have a deeper impact albeit on a narrower section of people. We are more focused on that niche and will ensure that they get the best solution for their campaign management needs at CallHub.

Lastly, we acknowledge the impact our tool can create. If we don’t take a stand now, it might create an impact in a direction that is not favorable to our values. “With great power comes great responsibility,” and today, we are equipped to take up that responsibility.

We are open to discussing our values and how they dictate our relationship with our dear customers. You can reach out directly to us at [email protected] for any reservations or questions.

We hope you are as aligned with us as we are with our values.

Here’s to making the world a kinder, more inclusive place.

Sincerely,
Team CallHub.
