New/Mode Integration

Turn Every New/Mode Action Into Texts and Calls

CallHub now connects with New/Mode, so every supporter who takes action on a New/Mode page lands in CallHub, ready for a text or call. Thank them, ask for the next step, and route replies into your phone bank - without exporting a single list.

What Syncs

What syncs from New/Mode to CallHub?

CallHub's New/Mode integration brings everyone who takes action on your New/Mode campaigns, like emailing their representative or signing a petition, straight into CallHub, ready for a text or call.

DataDirectionWhat happens
Contact detailsNew/Mode → CallHubName, email, and phone number from each action land in CallHub, ready for a text or call. Phone number is required, so every synced form needs a phone field.
Form answersNew/Mode → CallHubAny submission data you add to your data mapping comes across with the contact.
Custom fieldsNew/Mode → CallHubMap New/Mode data to your own CallHub fields. Create the field in CallHub first, then click Update Properties in New/Mode.
Key Value PairingsNew/Mode → CallHubSend a fixed value, like a program or campaign ID, with every submission so you always know where a contact came from.
SourceNew/Mode → CallHubThe source captured from your link (for example ?source=newsletter) can map to a CallHub field. Each new submission updates it.
Past submissionsNew/Mode → CallHubSelect contacts in New/Mode and click Sync contacts to CRM to send earlier submissions, in the order they came in.
What You Can Do

Four things this integration changes day to day

1

Text supporters right after they act

A supporter who just emailed their representative is the easiest person to ask for a second step. Reach them with peer-to-peer texts for one-on-one conversations or a text broadcast for a quick ask to everyone at once.

Thanks for writing to your rep about the transit bill. Next step: call their office before Thursday's vote. Tap to call now.
Just called. Their office said they're still undecided.
That's useful to know. Thank you for making the call.
2

Let replies route the next step

Supporters who reply yes move into a volunteer phone bank. Those who haven't acted get the next text wave. Anyone with a question gets a callback instead of another automated message. Conditional sequences handle the routing, so nobody pulls a new list between waves.

Conditional sequence
Replied YES→ Volunteer phone bank No reply→ Next text wave, Tuesday Asked a question→ Callback from an organizer
3

Ask for a donation while the moment is fresh

Every New/Mode campaign can have its own donation page. Text that link right after supporters act. 0.34% of supporters who take an advocacy action donate on the page that follows.

4

Choose which campaigns sync, and tag where each contact came from

Turn syncing on or off for each New/Mode campaign from its Review & Launch page. Add a Key Value Pairing or a source link, and every contact arrives in CallHub labeled with the program that brought them in.

Getting Started

How to connect New/Mode to CallHub

You need your CallHub API key and a New/Mode Movement Builder plan or above. The rest happens in your New/Mode dashboard.

1

Add phone and consent

Add a phone field and SMS consent language, or an opt-in checkbox, to every New/Mode form you want to sync.

2

Copy your CallHub API key

In CallHub, click your profile name, select Settings, and open the API Key tab. Copy the existing key. Generating a new one disconnects other integrations.

3

Connect in New/Mode

Open Integrations from the side menu, click + Connect next to CallHub, and paste your key. You only connect once.

4

Map fields and start syncing

Syncing starts paused. Make sure phone number is mapped, add any custom fields or Key Value Pairings, then click Resume Syncing and choose which campaigns sync.

Need more detail? See where to find your CallHub API key and New/Mode's setup guide for every screen and field.

Already Using a CRM?

Keep your CRM as the record. Both platforms connect to it.

New/Mode and CallHub both connect to Salesforce, Action Network, NationBuilder, and EveryAction. CallHub writes call outcomes, text replies, and tags back, so the full history stays with each contact.

FAQs

Questions about the New/Mode integration

It is a direct connection that brings supporters who take action on New/Mode campaigns into CallHub. Once they are in CallHub, you can follow up with peer-to-peer texts, text broadcasts, calls, voice broadcasts, or email.

Copy your API key from CallHub. Then, in New/Mode, open Integrations from the side menu, click + Connect next to CallHub, and paste the key. Review your data mapping, make sure phone number is mapped, then click Resume Syncing and choose which campaigns sync. New/Mode's setup guide covers each screen in detail.

Yes. Once supporters sync into CallHub, you can reach them with peer-to-peer texts or text broadcasts, and follow up with calls, voice broadcasts, or email.

Yes. New/Mode connects to your account with your CallHub API key. In CallHub, click your profile name, select Settings, and open the API Key tab. Copy the existing key rather than generating a new one, because a new key disconnects any integrations already using the old one.

CRM integrations, including CallHub, come with New/Mode's Movement Builder plan and above. For questions about your plan, email [email protected].

CallHub needs a phone number on every record. Without a phone field on the form, there is no number to sync, and the contact won't appear in CallHub. Add SMS consent language or an opt-in checkbox at the same time.

Supporter data flows from New/Mode into CallHub. If you also keep records in Salesforce, Action Network, NationBuilder, or EveryAction, connect CallHub to that CRM so call outcomes, replies, and tags are written back to the same contact.

Yes. Use the switch in the Integrations block on each campaign's Review & Launch page in New/Mode. Your data mapping stays the same across campaigns.

First check that the submission included a phone number. Then look at the sync status on the CallHub integration page in New/Mode, where any errors appear with a message. You can also resend contacts manually with Sync contacts to CRM.
