If you’re looking for political movies that tackle real historical events and the dynamics of power, these films are a must-see! Here are my favorites:
-
All the President’s Men – A gripping look at the Watergate scandal.
-
Selma – An emotional and powerful retelling of the civil rights march.
-
The Ides of March – A tense political drama about dirty politics during a campaign.
-
The Social Network – A must-watch for anyone interested in the politics behind Silicon Valley.
-
JFK – A thrilling exploration of the conspiracy theories surrounding Kennedy’s assassination.
There’s a rich list of films that both entertain and inform, offering insight into power struggles, corruption, and social movements.

- Young voters? They may not like Biden much, but they dislike Trump more. They’re not switching sides overnight.
- Black voters? Trump got slightly more support than past GOP candidates, but not enough to make a real difference.
- Hispanic voters? Similar story. Trump might do a bit better in certain areas, but it’s not a game-changer.
- Women? Not likely.
- College-educated? Nope.
That leaves us with white men, where Trump has strong support. But that’s not enough. He needs to win over a group he didn’t last time, and I don’t see that happening.
